I don't want to sleep.......

I just want to play with my toys all night! I am staying up way too late tonight. I am refusing to go to sleep! I would rather just play with my toys and Mommy and Daddy! Mommy decided to take some pictures of me wide awake when I should be sleeping! Mommy and Daddy were hoping to watch a movie, but I am ruining their plans! I know it is the weekend so I am loving staying up late! Let's play, not sleep!

Mommy, you should try dancing to my lullaby music too!

Congratulations Cousin Kayli!

Congratulations to my cousin Kayli who graduated today in karate and received a yellow belt! She showed us some of her moves today! We are so proud of you!

Happy 1st Birthday Braedon!

Happy 1st birthday Braedon! We hope you had a great day! We had fun today at your party. I liked trying to pin the tail on the donkey, playing with my cousins, your Mickey Mouse pinata, and watching you eat your cake and get messy! Thanks for letting me help you open your presents. Thanks for letting me play with you new toys too! Most of all, thanks for letting us share your special day with you! Enjoy the pictures from the party!
It was more fun to play with the ears, than wear them!

Cheering for Daddy's Team

Today was a big day for Daddy. We left at 1pm with his team to travel to Phoenix for the final four state playoff game. I had fun dancing to the music that was played during time outs and half time of all the basketball games. I loved watching Daddy coach his team in the big Jobing.com arena. Unfortunately, Daddy's team loss but they are still ranked 3rd in the State and they are ranked #1 in Mommy and my eyes. Daddy's team had a 26-7 record for the season which is the best in school history! We are so proud of Daddy and his team!

I scream, you scream....

we all scream for ice cream! Tonight at dinner, Mommy and Daddy decided to let me try frozen yogurt for the first time. The little ice cream cones were a perfect size for me! I liked the taste, but it was kind of cold for me. I am glad that Poppy had a birthday so I could try some frozen yogurt for dessert:).

Happy Birthday Poppy!

Happy Birthday Poppy! We hope you have a great day and a wonderful year! You are the best Poppy ever!

Fun at dinner

Mommy, Daddy, and I went out to dinner tonight! Mommy was very pleased with how kid friendly Claim Jumper was. They gave me my own place mat that stuck to the table and didn't come off no matter how hard I tried to take it off. Then, the waitress greeted us and brought me my own plate of snacks without us asking for it. On my snack plate was turkey, cheese, mandarin oranges, and applesauce! It all tasted very yummy except for the applesauce that Mommy think had too much cinnamon for me. I had fun playing peek-a-boo with Daddy and even shared some of my food with Daddy. I love sharing my food with Daddy.
Where's Caitlin?

There she is!

My First Tea Party

My busy weekend continued with a tea party to celebrate Angelica's birthday. We had so much fun at the Chantilly Tea Room. I wasn't allow to explore to much on my own because Mommy knew I would break something. Everyone who went to the party wore hats and drank tea. I enjoyed tasting scones for the first time. I drank juice instead of tea. Nana did show me the pretty tea cups, but I could only look at them. It won't be too long until I start to have tea parties of my own, but with plastic cups!

Caitlin meets herself

After the birthday party this afternoon, we went to Uncle Kenny and Aunt Stacie's house to celebrate their anniversary and Poppy's birthday! During the party, Mommy changed me into my pajamas so I could go home and be put to bed. After I was in my pajamas, I found the mirrored closet doors to be pretty fun. I thought it was neat to look in the mirror and see another baby my exact size! I kissed the baby in the mirror, tried to tickle it, gave it high fives, and just laughed out loud when the baby in the mirror moved with me. Everyone came in to see me playing with the baby in the mirror! Mommy and Daddy thought it was too cute not to take pictures.

MY GYM Birthday Party

I started my busy weekend by going to Rylee's 1st birthday party at MY GYM. I had never been there before, but boy I can't wait to go back. I had a blast bouncing on the trampoline while the bigger kids jumped up and down. I also liked playing in the balls, crawling through the fun toys, trying to climb the rock wall, trying to balance and walk on the balance beam, and swinging through the air! There were lots of kids at the party and I loved watching them play on all the cool toys too. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed watching me explore at the gym. I definitely want to go again to play sometime! Enjoy the photos and the videos!

Final Four, here we come!

Congratulations to Daddy and his team! They won tonight and will now play in the final four for the State championship. Mommy and I are so very proud of Daddy and his team. Daddy's team record is 26-6. They are undefeated at home and have the best record in school history. We will be going to Phoenix on Wednesday to cheer Daddy's team to victory!

11 Months Old!

I am 11 months old today! Mommy and Daddy feel like it was just yesterday that I was coming home from the hospital! I am quite a busy 11 month old. I can crawl faster than a speeding bullet! I can walk with assistance from hands or my toys! I am very observant! I point out everything to Mommy and Daddy. I love to wave hello and goodbye or hola and adios! I will pick out a book to be read to me anytime of day! I love to babble! I say mama and dada, but not always at the right person. I even try to whisper "ge yah" which Mommy and Daddy think means "getcha." Blowing kisses and making other funny sounds with my mouth is a favorite pastime. If I hear music, I start to dance and move up and down! Mommy loves that I like to dance! I LOVE going to my Daddy's basketball games and clapping with the crowd. I also like playing with remotes and cell phones. I think it is neat to push buttons and see what the buttons do. If you get a random call from Mommy and Daddy, but you don't hear them talking, it is probably me calling you as I push the buttons on their cell phones. I am a very happy baby. Even when I am sick, I still smile and laugh! Mommy and Daddy love this age that I am at, but they can't imagine what I am going to be able to do by the time I turn one!

All Aboard!

I love playing with Daddy when he gets home from practice. Tonight Daddy decided to be silly and sat on my train. Then Daddy told me to push him while he was sitting on the train. I thought it was so funny. I liked pushing Daddy on the train. Afterwards, Daddy returned the favor and pushed me all around the house on the train. Mommy says Daddy is too big for the train. I love laughing and playing with anyone who wants to be silly, especially my Daddy!

Daddy's team wins again

Daddy's team won their first state playoff game tonight against Buckeye. We are so proud of Daddy and his team. We love cheering them on! I love pointing out my Daddy to everyone and dancing everytime the band plays! Mommy and I can't wait to cheer them on at Friday's game!

Kisses?

I love giving kisses lately. I haven't mastered the hand and mouth movement together, but I love to make the sound of kisses. I especially love to imitate Mommy and Daddy giving me kisses. Mommy has tried to capture it on video, but I get shy when the camera is on. Below is a very short clip, but you should be able to see how I like to give kisses back to my Daddy. Enjoy!

A Lazy Sunday

I had a rough night sleeping as I am still not feeling better. This means that Mommy and Daddy had a rough night too. Mommy, Daddy, and I took it easy today. We went to breakfast this morning and I enjoyed my pancake and fruit. After we got home, the three of us took a nice long nap. I woke up in a good mood, but still not feeling that great. I went to Nana and Poppy's while Mommy and Daddy went to Costco. Nana has dug up some of Mommy's toys and I sure have fun playing with them when I am visiting. Nana says Fisher-Price toys are the best! Below are some pictures from our lazy Sunday.
Yummy pancakes!

My Daddy is........

the Coach of the Year! Today, my Daddy was named Coach of the Year for the Gila Region. This title is voted on by all of the coaches that Daddy competes against. Mommy and I are so proud of Daddy. His basketball team is doing great this year and starts their quest for State on Tuesday. I always have known my Daddy is the best, but now other people are recognizing it too. Way to go Daddy!

My First Valentine's Day

My first Valentine's day was okay, but would have been better if Mommy, Daddy, and I all felt better. I woke up this morning still feeling lowsy, but I still opened up my valentines and had fun playing a little with Mommy and Daddy. I even gave Mommy and Daddy a little surprise this morning when I walked by myself pushing my toy across the room and down the hall! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me. They know that soon I will be walking without the help of my toys. Below are some pictures from the day and the video clip of me walking.

I loved opening and reading my Valentine's cards
My Daddy gave me my own flowers and balloon, plus some yummy cookies too

Surprise for Daddy!

Mommy and I surprised Daddy for Valentine's Day by getting my picture taken. Even though I wasn't feeling well and I was fast asleep when we arrived at the picture place, my pictures turned out better than Mommy thought they would. Thanks to my Nina and Nino for the adorable outfits I wore for the photos! Daddy loved his surprise! Enjoy my photos!
