Just another fun Saturday night!

Nana, Poppy, Grandpa, Uncle Paul, and Nina Nina Dia came over to watch the UA vs. ASU basketball game tonight! I loved it because it meant that I had more playmates in the house! I love watching the basketball games on t.v. I usually run and get my pom poms out so I can cheer on the Wildcats. I dance and cheer when the Wildcats score. Tonight I had a great time playing with Uncle Paul, Poppy, and my Grandpa. They let me be silly with them and make me laugh! Thanks for coming over everyone and playing with me tonight! Watching the Wildcats beat the Sun Devils was fun too!

Daddy's 21st Win!

After going to the Disney show today, we went to watch Daddy's team play Catalina tonight and they won! Their record is now 21-1! The team is so fun to watch. I like sitting in the stands for about two of the four quarters. The rest of the time I want to be down on the court. Mommy says I can't do that. During halftime, I had a blast running around on the court. The announcer told Mommy that no one was supposed to be on the court but that I was too cute to ask off the court. Mommy told the announcer that if there is music that I would dance. Just then the music started and I performed my first solo halftime performance. The fans in stands clapped loud for me and just gave me more energy to keep dancing. I even tried to do the worm:). Mommy couldn't stop smiling and thanks to Uncle Kenny, we have pictures and video. Mommy calls me her little ham:). Enjoy the photos from tonight and watch the video of my halftime performance!
Having fun pinching Uncle Paul's nose:)

Disney LIVE! Rockin' Road Show

Mommy took Allison and Me to see a great show today. The show was Disney LIVE! Rockin' Road Show. Nina Karen, Nina Nina Dia, and Nana went too. We all loved the show. The moment we walked into the arena and I saw the big red curtain I said, "ooooooohhhhhh." I couldn't wait for the show to start. I enjoyed sharing a big pretzel with my Nina while waiting for the show to start. As soon as I saw Goofy and Donald Duck, I threw my arms out to them and wanted to run and hug them. I loved seeing all the characters and dancing to the music. What a fun show! It reminded me of Disneyland! Enjoy the pictures and a video.

Surprise Dinner Date with Mommy and Daddy

During basketball season, Daddy often comes home when I am already sleeping. Tonight he surprised Mommy and Me and came home early. I was so happy when I woke up from my nap and Daddy was home. To celebrate, Mommy, Daddy, and I had a dinner date at Olive Garden. I was a little fussy at first because I was hungry. After a few bites of the yummy breadsticks, some strawberries, and my yummy noodles, I was in a great mood. I had fun playing with our waiter too who spoke to me in Italian and made me laugh silly. Thanks for the surprise Daddy. Mommy and I love you and are proud of your coaching success this season.

Go Panthers Go!

Tonight Daddy's team played their fourth big game in six days. We played Santa Rita tonight at home. Daddy's team was on the news last night and had a great article in the paper today. We hope their winning streak continues. Santa Rita is a tough opponent, but they weren't tough enough tonight. Daddy's team won 90-76, which puts them in first place for their region. Mommy and I are so proud of Daddy. The gym was packed tonight and I had fun dancing with the band and cheering Daddy's team on while I ran around the top of the gym. After the game, Daddy was interviewed by many reporters. Daddy is a star and he has a team full of stars! It is so exciting to go to his games. We will keep cheering him on and keep you updated on their status. Daddy's team has won 20 straight games and only has one loss. Way to go Daddy and our favorite Panthers. Enjoy some photos from tonight and a video clip of me dancing with the band!
I tried to give the panther on the wall a hug:)

Happy 89th Birthday G.G.

My G.G. turned 89 today. Mommy says that she hopes to be as healthy and active at her age. G.G. goes to the gym three times a week and is very healthy. G.G. celebrated her special day by watching Daddy's team play at McKale Center and then having a birthday dinner. Allison and I had fun playing with G.G. and helping her blow out her candles. I also liked tasting the birthday dessert. We had fun celebrating with you G.G. and hope you have a fabulous year!

Family, football, and food = Sunday Fun!

Daddy's Cowboys were on t.v. this morning which meant it was time to have breakfast and watch football with the family. I love having everyone over because that means there are more people to play with me. Daddy wasn't too excited about how his team played, but he liked the company and the food! I had fun playing with a necklace that Nina Nina brought me and running around like Super Caitlin with my blanket as my cape. I even took a four hour nap today! This meant that I probably wouldn't be going to bed early but Mommy and Daddy didn't mind because they don't have school tomorrow. After everyone left, Mommy, Daddy, and I had family movie night and watched UP. I said "ooohh" a lot through the movie, especially when the house was floating through the air with balloons. What a fun filled Sunday.

Friday Night Basketball = FUN!

Tonight Daddy's team played Palo Verde. The game was at Palo Verde so Mommy was excited not to have to leave as early for the game. The Freshman and J.V. teams won and it was Daddy's team's turn to take the court. The game was full of high energy. I liked dancing to the band and even cried when they weren't playing when I wanted to keep dancing. In the end, Daddy's team won! They have won 18 games in a row and are 18-1 for the season. We are so proud of Daddy and his team. I will keep you posted as the season continues. Enjoy the photos from tonight.

Playing hide and seek a little too long

This afternoon I gave Nana a scare, but I didn't mean to. Here is what happened. Nana went to my room to change Allison. She called for Nina Nina Dia to refill the baby wipes as Allison's diaper was a pretty good one. Uncle Kenny came home at the same time and went into my room to see Allison. When all three adults and Allison came out of the room, they noticed that the house was too silent. They called for me, but I didn't answer loud enough for them to hear me. They started to search the house for me and couldn't find me. They immediately checked the backyard and the pool, but there was no Me. Uncle Kenny went out the door and searched our street, but still no Me. Mommy came home and Nana told her that they couldn't find me. Mommy ran through the house, looking under beds and in closets, but didn't find me. Mommy ran outside yelling my name, looking for me in the front yards of our neighbors, but had no luck finding me. Uncle Kenny went back inside and started turning the house inside out, but still couldn't find me. Poor Nana was shaken up and Mommy was in disbelief. At this point, Uncle Kenny called 911 to report me missing. Mommy drove around the neighborhood looking for me and had no luck. While Mommy was driving, Nana called to tell her that I had been found. Any guesses......................the pantry! When the cop and Uncle Kenny opened the door I was happily playing with the straws and didn't seem to care that everyone else was crying tears of joy. Four cop cars were at our house within seconds. Everyone is thankful for their quick response and happy that I was okay. The cops did tell us that this isn't uncommon, but it usually occurs with 4 and 5 year olds. Aunt Stacie came and told me that I should tell someone when I am going to play hide and seek. I was "missing" for 13 minutes and it seemed like an eternity to everyone. Mommy was so relieved that I was in the house and not found hiding outside somewhere. I am very sorry that I scared everyone and I will tell someone the next time I want to play hide and seek. Once everyone settled down we had dinner together and Allison and I played. I even helped give Allison a bath in the big bathtub. This is a day that Mommy and Nana won't let me forget. Daddy didn't find out about this until he came home from his game in Rio Rico. Sorry for scaring everyone. Mommy doesn't have photos of me hiding, but she does have photos of the evening after I was found.

Swinging in the Sun!

We have had great weather which means that Allison and I get to go outside and play! We love to swing together. Today Allison sat in the baby swing and I used the big girl swing. Swinging in the Sun is sooooo much fun! Nana and Nina Nina Dia like it too because afterwards we like to take long naps! Enjoy the photos of the us girls playing on the swings!

Three Kings Celebration

On January 6th, Three Kings Day is celebrated around the world. This is the day that the three wise men arrived to visit baby Jesus and bring him gifts. In many cultures, children receive gifts from the three kings. Today Nana, Mommy, and Me went to see the three kings visit the baby Jesus and bring him gifts. The kings also had a gift for each of us. They called my name out to receive my present, but I wouldn't go by myself and had Mommy go with me. I didn't know what to think of the kings. I liked playing with there wooden walking sticks, but I didn't really care for them very much. After every child in the room opened their present, we had yummy goodies to eat. Mommy even let me eat a lollipop! Thanks to Elisa for inviting us to this fun event. Enjoy the photos from today.

It's time for Movers and Shakers

I love my Movers and Shakers class. When Mommy asked me this morning if I wanted to go I started running around the house with excitement. I woke up extra early this morning, but I still had plenty of energy for my class. I was happy to see my friends and my teachers. Today I showed off a little in class. When asked to stretch in the bear position, I didn't think twice and just did it. I loved our races across the floor and I did most of the stretches without Mommy having to guide me. My Nina Karen came to watch today and I ran to the window and asked her to come in the class with me. She was a little nervous, but I showed her around. She helped me walk across the balance beam and held on to me really tight. During our parachute time, I pointed to the parents to let them know they could start walking in a circle. A Mommy even told my Mommy that I was definitely the princess in class today. Mommy smiled and said that I was just like her. Thanks for coming and playing with me Nina Karen. I can't wait for my class next week! Enjoy the photos from class today.

Go Daddy Go!

Daddy's team won their game tonight! They are now 16-1 for the season and are doing great! Mommy and I are very proud of Daddy and his team! Tonight Allison and Uncle Kenny came to the game to cheer on Daddy. Allison likes all of the action like I do. Here are a couple of pictures from tonight! I will update you next week on how Daddy's team is doing! Here we go Panthers, Here we go!

Allison was cheering for her Uncle Ben, my Daddy. If you look closely at her right hand it seems that she is giving him a thumbs up!

Time for new flowers

Grandpa Corkey came over today to plant new flowers in our backyard. I asked Nana to help put my shoes on so I could help Grandpa plant the new flowers. Our weather was perfect today and we had a blast outside. I had fun digging in the dirt, helping put the new flowers in the dirt, patting down the dirt, putting the dirt on Grandpa's back, and throwing the dirt. Nana said I was covered from head to toe with dirt by the time we were through and she put me right into the bathtub when we were done. I also pretended to plant flowers in my sandbox and had fun blowing bubbles while outside. I love to be outside and today was a perfect day. Thanks for the new flowers Grandpa and thanks for the princess balloons that you brought Allison and Me! Enjoy the pictures from today!

My basketball friends

I like going to Daddy's basketball games not only to watch Daddy's team win, but also to play with my friends. Two of Daddy's players have sisters that I like to play with during the games. Tonight I played more than watch the game. I wanted to shadow anything that my 6 year old friend, Natalie, was doing. I especially liked drinking from the water fountain like a big girl. Natalie and I had fun playing together, chasing each other, and cheering for the boys. My friend, Monica, is only 1 and she and I have fun chasing each other and running around the gym. Tonight one of Daddy's parents, Ms. Jackie, came over and helped all of us learn to share the basketball by rolling it to each other. What a fun time at Daddy's game with my friends. Enjoy some of the pictures and a short video clip of me cheering with the pep band.

Story time with Nana

Mommy and Daddy started to read to me when I was growing in Mommy's belly. I LOVE BOOKS! Nana and Nina Nina Dia often read several to Allison and Me throughout the day. Today we had story time with Nana and caught it on camera. Both of us sat happily on Nana's lap while she read, Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?, my favorite book right now! I like to point out the animals on the page. I especially love the last page of the book which has all of the animals on one page! Having a Nana who was a librarian makes story time extra special because Nana reads to us with a special passion. We love you Nana and thank you for our story time memories.

Allison and Me happy that it's story time!

Keeping Nana busy

Mommy and Daddy went back to work this week so Allison and I get time to play together with Nana at our house every week day. Allison learned to crawl on Christmas day and is now cruising all over. I love it! I love watching her crawl, crawling along side her, chasing her, and pointing out that she is crawling so everyone notices. We definitely keep Nana busy these days. Nana has a blast watching us play and interact together. In seconds, Allison and I turn the living room into a large play room with our toys scattered everywhere. We have been trying to get Allison to crawl through the tube with me. Today she finally did with the help of my Mommy. Allison still takes two naps and I usually only take one. Sometimes we take them at the same time which gives Nana a little break. Today when Allison went down for her first nap, Nana and I went outside. I asked Nana to push me in the swing. An hour and a half later, I was asking Nana for "mo." Nana pushed me for a long time and I just wanted more. Eventually I fell asleep in the swing like I used to do when I was younger :). Allison and I love our days with Nana and thank her for giving us all her energy to take of us! Enjoy the pictures from today to see just how busy we keep Nana.

You want me to crawl through there?

I'll just play out here instead

I tried to get Allison to come and see me on the other side

She didn't want to so I crawled to her instead

I love to play with cards. I also love to scatter them everywhere.

I'll just play with my caterpillar for now

Nana, can I make you something in my kitchen?

Maybe I will give this tube a try

Still thinking about crawling through it

Oooh...I would love to play with that ball

I crawled behind Allison to encourage her to crawl through the tube

You're almost through it Allison

I'm smiling because Allison crawled through the tube

Yeah for Allison. Who knew it would just take a ball and plastic container
I'm peeking to see if the tube is clear for me to crawl through

Relaxing in my swing while enjoying 70+ degree weather

An hour and a half of swinging leads to a nice little nap

An oldie but goodie toy is.....

Mr. Potato Head! Santa brought me Mr. Potato Head's entire family. I love to stick ears, arms, feet, hats, eyes, and noses anywhere they will fit on the potato and then show off my new creations. I usually laugh silly when I show off my creation and so do Mommy and Daddy because often my potatoes have three arms or two sets of feet. This morning Mr. Potato Head kept me quite busy. Playing with this toy reminds Mommy and Daddy when they played with him, but now I have the whole family and they didn't. Mommy and Daddy love that I like playing with the same toy they played with when they were younger.
This toy takes a lot of concentration

Lets have two arms coming off the side and a third one at the top of his head:)
