Road trip to Prescott Valley to cheer Daddy's team on in the state championship!

Mommy and I traveled with Daddy and his team to Prescott Valley on Thursday morning. Actually the whole family traveled to cheer Daddy on. I loved the car ride up because we were chasing Daddy's yellow school van the whole way! We ate lunch when we arrived in Prescott Valley and then it was nap time for me before Daddy's final four game against William's Field. The game didn't start until 7:30pm which isn't too different than the regular season, but I was still a little tired during the game. Daddy's team won their game which meant we would play Saturday in the state championship game. Mommy, Me, and the whole family were so happy and excited for Daddy's team. On Friday, we had time to roam around Prescott Valley. We went to a team barbecue and I had a blast playing with my friend Monica, one of Daddy's player's sister. After the barbecue, I took a nap with Daddy while Nina Nina Dia, Nina Nina, and Mommy went to the casino. Friday night we ate dinner with the team and I had fun running around the private room we had. Saturday, we went shopping and I enjoyed riding the little kiddie rides at the mall. Daddy's game on Friday was at 8pm which is pretty late for me. I managed to stay awake through the entire game. Unfortunately we lost by 2 points, but it was an AWESOME game! We are so proud of Daddy and all that his team has accomplished this season. They ended with a record of 29-3. This is the most wins in Amphi history and they are still undefeated at home for the second season in a row! Thanks for all of you who have cheered Daddy on this season and followed his successes. Oh and by the way, Daddy is coach of the year for the second year in a row too! Congrats Daddy! Enjoy the photos from our weekend in Prescott Valley!

It snowed on Saturday night and I participated in the snowball fight with Daddy on Sunday morning. It was fun, but when asked what I thought about the snow my answer was, "coooooollddd." I would also pretend to shiver to show just how cold the snow is.

Just playing around

Nana catches me playing around and being silly quite often these days. Sometimes I am playing with something I shouldn't, but I am learning. I also tell Allison, "no" when I see her starting to play with something that I know she shouldn't:). Below are a couple of pictures of what I got into today. Enjoy!
Mommy's wooden shoes are fun to put on. They are from Belgium and represent my Belgian heritage!

Hard for me to hide the fact that I tried to sneak a cookie! At least a gave Nana a silly smile when she caught me in the act!

Our Wildcat toddler

Mommy, Daddy, and I went to the UofA vs. ASU basketball game today. I slept through the 2nd half of the game because I was tired of cheering. Too bad the Wildcats didn't play as good as Daddy's team. Oh well, we still had fun. Afterwards we took Poppy out for his birthday dinner! What a fantastic way to spend our Sunday!

When Mommy goes to play Bunco........

Daddy and I have our own party! Tonight Uncle Paul came over to join in the fun. Mommy told Daddy to take pictures of what we did, but when Mommy saw the pictures she just smiled. You will smile too when you see them below. Daddy, Uncle Paul and I ate pizza and had a fun night of playing! I loved it! I was still awake when Mommy got home, but we had cleaned up all the evidence of the fun we had. Daddy and daughter nights are fun! Enjoy the photos!
The beginning of my food coma and my silly marinara mustache

Mommy saw this and asked, "Daddy why didn't you cut up the pizza?" Daddy answered with a chuckle, "I told Caitlin she was going to get me in trouble."

Still in my food coma, especially after Daddy let me taste the ranch dressing

Meeting Rocky

Nana and Poppy's dog, Blue, passed away this past week. Mommy was sad because she grew up with Blue. Nana told Mommy not to worry because they would get a new dog. This morning Nana called Mommy to say that they had a new puppy, Rocky. I knew how to call for Blue so now I will have to learn how to call for Rocky. For now, I just call him "pup-py" with an emphasis on the "py" part of the word. He is so cute and friendly. I fell in love immediately and so has everyone else! I can't wait to play with Rocky again. Enjoy the photos of Nana and Poppy's new puppy!

Rocky smelling me right away

Who wouldn't love this adorable face?

Poppy helped me try to hold it, but all I did was laugh

Then I held Rocky's bottom up in the air:)

Daddy's team wins again!

Daddy's team won their 2nd state playoff game tonight, which puts their record at 28-2 for this year. This also means that Daddy's team is in the Final Four next week in Prescott Valley. Guess where Mommy, Me, and the rest of the family will be spending our Rodeo Vacation? We can't wait to cheer Daddy on and hopefully see his team play in the state championship game. Tonight was another great game. Allison and I had fun dancing to the music and playing throughout the game! I don't know what I'll do for fun at night when Daddy's season is over. Enjoy some photos from tonight and continue to stay tuned to see what happens next week in Prescott Valley. Go Daddy Go!

Hooray for Daddy!

Daddy's team won their first state playoff game tonight! It was a great game and they won by 38 points! Everyone came out to support Daddy tonight. Allison and I had a blast playing and cheering together. I even took Allison for a ride in the wagon! Congratulations Daddy! We can't wait to cheer you on this Friday! Enjoy the photos from tonight!

Perfect weather for a wagon ride

Allison and I love going for rides in the wagon. The weather today was perfect. The sun was shining so we put on our floppy hats, sat down, and we were ready to go! A big thanks to Nana and Nina Nina Dia for always taking us in the wagon! What a fun way to enjoy great weather! It usually helps us take a good nap too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!! What an awesome day Mommy, Daddy, and I had today. We started with a yummy breakfast and then decided to go shopping. When it was lunch time we decided to try Oregano's and beat the crowd. There was no wait when we arrived. I loved the yummy cheese bread and my pasta. Mommy, Daddy, and I continued shopping after our yummy Valentine's lunch at my favorite store, Toys R' Us! After shopping and eating it was time for my nap! Mommy and Daddy took a little nap too. In the evening, Aunt Stacie, Uncle Kenny, and Allison came over. Nana and Poppy stopped by too! What a fun filled, loving day! Enjoy our photos from lunch!

Cheering with my Daddy!

Mommy, Daddy, and I celebrated Valentine's weekend by going to the UofA basketball game tonight! I love watching basketball, especially with my Daddy! We had fun cheering together and raising our hands during free throws. I can't think of a better way to spend Valentine's weekend than with my Daddy and Mommy!

Hands Up!

Concentrating on clapping to the beat with Mommy's bracelet in my hand!

Friday Night Fever

Friday nights for me usually means it's time to cheer on Daddy's team! Tonight was Daddy's last game of the regular season. Daddy's team fought hard, but lost to Santa Rita tonight. Daddy's record is 26-2 for the season so far. His Panthers are still number one in the region so this game didn't really matter. It fired up the boys to win the next four games and win the state championship! Stay tuned for the results. Enjoy some photos from tonight!
Before going to the game I asked Mommy and Nana if I could put on some makeup:)

Dancing with Mickey Mouse before leaving for the game (I am going to see Mickey next month for my birthday!)

Daddy's team = Region Champs!

Tonight was Daddy's last home game of the regular season. His team beat Palo Verde tonight for their 26th win in a row. Daddy's team was undefeated at home last year and so far are undefeated at home again this year. Daddy's team tied for region champs last year and this year they are the region champs all by themselves. Mommy and I are so proud of all that Daddy and his team have accomplished. We have a big game Friday and then we start the state playoffs next week. I had a great time cheering Daddy on, dancing to the band music, coloring in the stands, and eating a lolli pop that I like to call "pop pop" during the game. After the game, Mommy and I went to congratulate Daddy and there were news cameras and newspaper writers everywhere. Daddy held me while being interviewed, but I didn't want to look at the camera. Stay tuned to hear how Daddy's team does in the days to come! Enjoy the photos from tonight!
